I have tested and applied Eisenman's techniques of gradual rotation and subtle movement to my pattern investigation and then subtracted selected spaces where the rotation causes overlapping.

Subtraction Pattern Investigation

Fibonacci Subtractive Sequence

0, 1, 1, 0, -1, -1, 0, 1, 1, 0, -1, -1, 0, 1, 1, 0 etc.

Applying the above sequence to a grid on the face of a block using the following rules, produced the below subtractive patterns:

1 = The surface of the block,

0 = Subtract one cube into the block

-1 = Subtract two cubes into the block
